Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. Introduction

Corridor is a social app for sharing your mood and location with people you choose, finding others nearby, and making plans together. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. "Personal Data" means any information that identifies or could reasonably be linked to you.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information, such as your name, email, username, and profile details you choose to add.
  • Content you create, such as mood check-ins, messages, and plans you post or join.
  • Location information, when you choose to share it, used to power map, nearby-people, and check-in features.
  • Usage information, such as how you interact with the app, collected to help us improve it.
  • Information from other users, such as when someone adds you as a friend or invites you to a group or plan.
  • Support and feedback you send us directly.
  • Corridor Plus purchases: Google Play handles the payment and we never see your card or UPI details. We keep what we need to give you Plus: which plan you bought, when it starts and ends, whether it renews, and Google Play's reference for the purchase.
  • Profile views: when you open someone's profile, we record that you viewed it and when, for 30 days. They see “Someone viewed you”, or your name if they have Corridor Plus. Plus members can browse privately, and then no view is recorded.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to operate and improve Corridor: to show your content to the audience you choose, connect you with friends and nearby people, run features like plans and chat, send notifications you've opted into, keep the service secure, and respond to your questions and feedback.

4. Location and precision controls

Sharing your location is optional and under your control. You can choose how precisely it's shared, from your exact position to an approximate area to not at all, and you can change this at any time from your profile settings.

5. Who can see your information

Corridor gives you controls over who sees what you post, such as everyone, a group of friends, or just you. Content you mark private stays private. Some information, like a plan you host or attend, may be visible to other participants.

6. Sharing with third parties

We work with a small number of trusted service providers who help us run Corridor, such as hosting, maps, notifications, and payment processing for optional paid features. They only receive what they need to provide their service, and we do not sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, or until you delete the specific content. Deleting something removes it from Corridor going forward, but cannot undo anything already seen or saved by someone else before deletion.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee data will never be accessed, disclosed, or lost as a result of a breach.

9. Children's privacy

Corridor is not directed at children and requires users to meet a minimum age to sign up. If we learn a child has created an account, we will remove it.

10. Your choices

You can review and update most of your information from your profile and settings at any time. To access, correct, or request deletion of your data, contact us through the Feedback option in the app.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and revise the date above.

12. Contact
